Where is my data stored?
Purchase details and photos are stored locally on your iPhone. Warranty Box has no account system and does not upload your archive.
How do I add a purchase?
Open Shelf, tap the add button, enter the purchase details, and save. You can add receipt, product, serial number, and packaging photos.
How does receipt recognition work?
After you add a receipt photo, Apple Vision recognizes text on your device and may suggest a date or amount. Review every suggestion before applying it.
Why did I not receive a reminder?
Open iPhone Settings, find Warranty Box, and confirm that notifications are enabled. Then open the purchase and confirm that warranty reminders are turned on and the expiry date is still in the future.
How is the expiry date calculated?
Warranty Box adds the selected number of calendar months or years to the purchase date. If the resulting month has fewer days, the last valid day of that month is used.
How do I export proof of purchase?
Open a purchase and choose Export Warranty PDF. The document is created on your device and presented in Apple's system share sheet.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual purchases from their detail screens. This also removes associated photos, pending reminders, and Spotlight entries. Uninstalling the app deletes information stored in its app container.
Can I restore a deleted purchase?
Warranty Box does not provide an account or cloud restore service. A deleted purchase cannot be restored from within the app.
